Quad eyeshadow is eyeshadow that comes in containers of four different colors or shades. There are several different ways to use eyeshadow, but the best way utilizes all four colors as a palette. The different shades can be used to create a darker, dramatic effect for nighttime wear, but all four shades can also be used to create a toned-down look suitable for wearing to work or school. Quad eyeshadow can be applied simply and easily.

Choose a quad eyeshadow pack that complements your eye color. For example, people with brown eyes should use eyeshadow that contains shades of purple, such as plum or violet.

Begin with the lightest color in the palette. Apply it with an eyeshadow brush from your lash line to your brow bone and from the inner to the outer corner of your eye, which falls just beneath your eyebrow.

Apply the next lightest color over the top of the lightest color. Brush the second color from your lash line to the crease of your eyelid and from the inner to the outer corner of your eye.

Brush the third color into the creased area of your eyelid, from the outside edge of the eyelid to the middle of your eyelid.

Apply the darkest color at the outer edge of your eyelid. Apply it in a V shape towards the center of your eyelid, along your lash line and up to the crease of your eyelid.

Lightly blend all four colors together with your fingertip to smooth out the edges. Do not smudge the colors or press too hard on your eyelid as this can remove the eyeshadow.
