BEFORE AND AFTER GLAM LOOK part one

Eye shadow enhances the eyes, the most noticeable feature of the face. Applied correctly, it can make your eyes appear larger or smaller, sultry or professional, wide set or close-set. An eye shadow base helps reveal and enhance the color of eye shadow and helps it last longer. It also makes it easier to blend your eye shadow. Read on to learn how to apply an eye-shadow base.

Step
1
Select a cream base or powdered form of eye shadow base. Choose a shade that is close to your complexion. There are both light and dark shades available so test a variety of base colors before settling on the right one.

Step
2
Put some eye shadow base on your finger or a make up sponge to apply a cream base. For a powder base, use a regular eye shadow brush

Step
3
Gently apply the base onto your eyelids. Work from your lash line up to your eyebrows with steady strokes.

Step
4
Blend the base color gently into your skin, making sure to avoid a visible line.

Step
5
Check your application in natural light. If it appears that you have applied too much base, then rub it off gently with a tissue paper or a new brush.
